About ADRA Togo

ADRA Togo is the humanitarian and development agency of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Togo.

We work alongside communities, institutional partners, and local stakeholders to build resilience, protect human dignity, and bring about sustainable improvements in the living conditions of vulnerable people.

1. Who are we?

ADRA Togo, which has been active in Togo since 1989, is a member of the global ADRA network, which operates in more than 120 countries.
Our mission is humanitarian and development-oriented. We carry out our work without discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, political opinion, or religious belief.

To serve vulnerable individuals and communities with compassion, fairness, and professionalism, so that they may live with dignity, hope, and independence.

A Togo where everyone—especially the most vulnerable—has the means to live with dignity, contribute to the development of their community, and build a better future.

Our History in Togo

ADRA Togo began its work in 1989 with humanitarian and emergency relief efforts. Over the years, our commitment has expanded to address the basic needs of communities.

We have shifted from a model based on one-off projects to an integrated approach to sustainable development and local capacity building.

Today, ADRA Togo operates in several regions through programs in education, health, food security, water, hygiene, and sanitation, emergency response, and social protection.
